1975: Lincoln’s Seville?

Cadillac had the Seville, Lincoln had the…..the what?
It was probably a safe bet that Lincoln was working on a car to counter Caddy’s so called “international sized” sedan.  The Zephyr was only assumption, as that nameplate returned for the Mercury line, so I am confident this was, what the Versailles began as. The radiator had obvious similarities with that of the Mark IV, as well as a certain European luxury car.
