1976 Lincoln Continental Town Car Test Drive

It was quite a year at the Lincoln studio.  The line continued with two models, a two door coupe and four door sedan, while the Town Coupe and Town Car were the luxury versions.  The opera window was now a delete option in the sedan and the color choices had been revised.  Add Michelin tires and two radio-type options and you have the 1976 Lincoln.

Where do you find these things? This is another interesting video. I thank you for finding these videos.
the funny thing is Continental is back for 2017. It won’t be as long, but it will be more luxurious.

  2. Joe Don Baker says:

I agree with the above sentiment. This is real automotive video review history. Could you provide more information on the reviewer and this series in your description?

  3. Pete Anderson says:

Baja – Please post the Rolls test the reporter mentions if you have it!

  4. I am the owner of a time capsuled 76 Lincoln Town Car, it has the orig 460 big blk engine, with not even 12k miles on it. It is show quality, light crystal jade exterior with the matching padded ” coach roof”, and deep emerald green, plush velour pillow top seats. An exquisite homage to the 70s disco era.

My escape ( especially in this Covid environment ), is to sit in it with a daiquiri, and play those tunes, floating down the road at a floaty 8 mpg.
