1979: Saab’s Super Turbo Racer
Most of the world wasn’t ready for the debut of the Saab 900 series, and even those who were were would be taken back by this idea. The basic shape of this competition version featured a squared off look, deepened front spoiler, extended front and rear fender panels, and a vastly larger rear spoiler.
