1983 Chevrolet Cavalier Manufacturer Promo
2.0 liter engine only powerplant offered: 4-speed manual gearbox standard with 3-speed automatic of 5-speed stick extra cost option. Cadet and CL models eliminated. New lineup included 2- and 4-door sedans and 4-door wagon offered in both base and CS versions, CS hatchback, and midyear CL convertible. CL trim package optional on CS models. Limited availability fuel economy 2-door sedan offered with 5-speed. Redesigned spring, strut and transmission mounts fitted to reduce vibration and idle shake. CL convertible, available in January 1983, will offered F41 suspension , power steering, power windows, and power top as standard equipment.
