1983 Ford Escort GT Commercial
Heading Ford’s 1983 Escort line was a stronger GT two door hatchback sedan with 88 horses courtesy of throttle body electronic fuel injection. Though these and other improvements helped keep Escort at the top of the sales charts, volume nonetheless declined some 70,000 units to 315,370.
