1985 Chevrolet Celebrity Commercial
Celebrity was the second-best selling Chevy for 1985 (after Cavalier), and number three in America. It carried on with few changes, though the 2.8-liter V6 gained optional Multi-Port Fuel Injection. Because of its size and inherent economy, the Celebrity 4-door Sedan was a familiar “face” in rental-car fleets. The more aggressive Eurosport – a $199 package – was available in Coupe and Sedan body styles. Chevy claimed the fuel-injected Eurosport Coupe could manage the 0-60 sprint in about 10 seconds – not bad for a mid-size family car.
