1985 Pontiac Firebird Manufacturer Promo
The Firebird line was revised with all models being restyled at both the front and rear ends. The Base Trans Am were fitted with 15 inch wheels and tires as standard. An optional WS6 package would include firmer suspension, faster ratio steering, and 16in aluminum wheels wearing unidirectional Goodyear gatorbacks. The WS6 option would be available only in conjunction with the 190hp HP .0 liter V8 or the new 225hp port injected 5.0 liter. Both powerplants were extra cost options. The Firebird SE was no longer offered with the WS6 package; a suspension upgrade, equal to the base T/A called the Y99 option was offered instead.
