1987: What the L is this?

Reliable sources at GM confirmed the existence of three new and interesting vehicle programs involving the L-body Corsica sedan and Beretta Coupe.  While the convertible Beretta was scheduled and never produced, and the Corsica did receive a hatchback, sources also claimed a station wagon wasn’t far behind. The Corsica wagon reportedly was a project evolution that required more development, consequently more lead time, and was desired as much as the Beretta convertible.
