1988: Beretta Convertible, Mazda exports to Japan

Chevrolet shows off its topless Beretta, with no plans of production. A shame, because it really was a looker! Leaving us with what was an IMSA look-a-like, the GTU. Ford attempts to acquire AC cars, and Mazda announces that building cars in America was just as cost effective as it was in Japan for the day, allowing them to consider shipping cars built here, back to their home market!
