One year before the 3 year Baja run, Chevrolet offered a one year only ‘Back Country’ edition. Perhaps this is even more rare than a Baja!

Sorry for the long delay. I FINALLY found the light rack that looks just like the back country edition. It has never been installed. It does not have a GM sticker on it, so I can’t verify that it is a factory part. Even the factory ones may not have been made by GM anyway. It is black fiberglass, or some kind of hard plastic, and looks to be 3 parts bolted together. it has 3 mounting studs on each side that allows it to be secured to the bed. It is dusty, but always stored inside. I have pics I can send. I can get dimensions and answer any questions. I got this back in the day to put on my 1992 because I wanted off road lights, but I did not want a roll bar. I never installed it because I found a 1989 Baja edition that I built instead. This has been in the garage attic ever since. It has never been installed. Never stored outside. No scratches on the fiberglass, no holes drilled for any lights, and no nuts have ever been on the mounting studs that would bolt it to the bed. I don’t remember what I paid for it, but I want $100.00 cash for it. I will not ship it due to size, and the chance of damage. I am in the Cleveland Ohio area. I would love to help someone make their old truck look good again! Email me at bluezr@hotmail.com
