1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Commercial
The 88 for 89 was a full size front wheel drive 4-door, 5-passenger sedan. It was also a coupe with a sleeker roofline and some hotter looks. The latter was a handsome car with hints of BMW, as well as ordinary Ciera touches in evidence, but it was still nicely understated. Power from the 3.8 liter V6 pumped through a 4-speed automatic, and with a snappier final drive ratio, returned fuel mileage in the 19/29 range.
