A blast from the past, though in name only, the 1990 Dodge Monaco was a near copy of the es-Renault Eagle Premier. Introduced mainly to boost sales and keep its Canadian Plant busy, Monaco got off to a rather slow start.

Hmm that Cressida looks like an inline 6 to me.

  2. Adam(L) says:

oh dear, what a turd. it was completely obvious that they took no steps to try and differ the dodge from the renault. I see minor body cladding changes and a new steering wheel. thats all thats new here. I can only imagine the guy talking about this having to redo the scene because he was getting pissed. “its a bloody renault, not a dodge, you’re all a joke!!!”

from the wonderful imported plastic to its fake rubber side cladding, this car was exactly what America hated about the 90’s.

I LIKE 1990-91 DODGE MONACO AWESOME RARE LUXURY CAR

  4. ChrisMo says:

The hosts had to be biting their tongues to not laugh whenever they said “The Monaco’s sleek aerodynamic style” in comparison to the other 3 which are CLEARLY less boxy in design. Also, they put a whole lot of emphasis on those annoying auto belts as an important safety feature but the Taurus’s std airbag wasn’t a big deal. The only car of this bunch which would likely still be on the road today would be the Cressida.
