1992 Dodge Viper Preview
With the introduction of the 2013 SRT Viper, lets take a look back to where it all began!
Quickly evolved from a show-stopping ’89 concept-with help from Carroll Shelby-the new 1992 Dodge Viper was America’s hottest production sports car with its brutish 400-horse V-10. Aptly termed a ‘ modern cobra’, it came with six-speed manual gearbox, huge wheels and tires, clip-in side curtains, and skimpy ‘bikini’ top for $55,630. Initial output was deliberately held to 200 units, all finished in red with black interior.
