A modernized 1992 Crown Victoria debuted in March 1991 with smooth ‘aero’ looks, reworked rear drive chassis, and Ford’s new single overhead cam 4.6 modular V8 with 190 horsepower. There was even a police package that countered Chevrolet’s similar 9c1 option on the Caprice!

190HP V8… WOW! THAT is amazing pitiful. Heck, my 235bhp 5.4L in my ’98 is pitiful. Of course, torque is decent, but they sure didn’t tune them for HP.
my 5.9l dodge ram was only at like 245HP…
