The appeal and the price. GM has always known how to use these two elements admirably well. With the years, this formula had waned and it took substantial arguments to convince the clientele. Quality and reliability should have been the two key elements of the Grand Am, and to GM’s future. Luckily for GM it is now, but not so lucky for Pontiac.
