1994 GMC Yukon 2-Dr SLE 6.5L Diesel Test Drive

As GMC’s entrant in the full size two-door sport utility market, the big Yukon carried strong credentials. Side door guard beams, CFC-free refrigerant, increased undercoating, and several durability and pleasureability enhancements highlighted the changes for 1994. Under the hood you could now order the 6.5-liter turbodiesel, with 360 pound-feet of torque and diesel efficiency. Towing capacity was 7000 pounds, so all the camping gear could be included in summer vacation, and four wheel drive was standard. For day in day out use, few SUV’s were as stylish as the big brawny Yukon.
