When the Talon was reformulated 1995 was introduced in 1994, it was obvious it embodied many of the positive traits of the first-generation Diamond-Star coupes, but with refinement of purpose and tautness of structure previously lacking. Power, performance, and smart pricing were still the bywords of this built-in-Illinois sport coupe. the model line comprised of the base ESi (front-drive, 2.0-liter/140-horsepower DOHC four), mid level TSi (front-drive, 2.0-liter-turbo/210-horsepower), or majordomo TSi AWD (all-wheel-drive, 2.0-liter turbo/210-horsepower). Dual airbags, sleek styling, and optional ABS made this new Talon a champ.
