1999 Mercedes Benz ML430 Test Drive

Forget about the three pointed star on its grille and look at the Mercedes M-class’ shape. This thing screamed unique. It wasn’t a pick up with rear doors and a bad welded on. It wasn’t some front drive wussmobile that was reconfigured to please soft suburbanites who want to look like rugged off roaders. It wasn’t luxurious because of over decoration, gimmicks, or its name plate, but due to its solid construction and the best mannered ride in the business. If the ML 430 we’re being built by Mattel, it would still have been one of the world’s greatest vehicles. But really, who but Mercedes could have build it?
