In a move to eliminate confusion and duplication in the marketplace, the Chrysler Sebring sedan replaced the Chrysler Cirrus sedan. And with the demise of the Plymouth rand, so goes the Plymouth Breeze. The Sebring name did double duty now, as both a sedan and coupe. The Dodge Stratus and Chrysler Sebring were corporate clones and shared the same platform with the Sebring Convertible. Even though platforms and powertrains were the same, Stratus and Sebring had different images and driving characteristics.
