2001 Lexus IS300 Test Drive
The IS300, a brand new car for Lexus in 2001, would challenge the notion that the best high performance compact sport sedans came from Europe. Positioned below the Lexus GS models, the IS300 competed with the Audi A4 and BMW 3-series. It targeted directly at the 25-40 age group. Perhaps that’s why, for the first time at Lexus, the IS300 was available in yellow.
