McLaren F1. Lamborghini Diablo. Cadillac Cien. How could any Caillac be mentioned in the same paragraph with these two mid engine V-12 Powered exotic greats? Simple: The Cien had the potential to be a mid engine V-12 Powered exotic great in its own right. If Cadillac would have only produced it. Which it could have. Or at least should. Equally important to the notion of a mid-engine sports car concept was that of a home grown V-12 engine. The Northstar XV12, shown along with the Cien, was also billed as a concept. If Cadillac would have only produced it. Which it could have. Or at least should.

I loved this car back in the day. I think they could still build this as presented and it would be competitive with the Lamborghinis and Ferraris of today.
