2002 Lexus ES300 Test Drive

All new for 2002, the third generation of Lexus’ entry level sedan was bigger, better, and more distinctively styled than ever before.  A longer wheelbase added to interior space while structural improvements and side curtain airbags enhanced safety. The ES300’s 6 now worked with a new five speed automatic transmission.  Highlighting the roster of standards were dual zone climate control, power windows/locks/mirrors/seats, cruise control, premium sound system with CD, and keyless remote with alarm. A Mark Levinson audio package, DVD based nav, moonroof, adaptive suspension and stability control were the top options.
