2002 Mercedes Benz SLK320 AMG Test Drive
This sporty changeling could go from coupe to roadster in 25 seconds. While 2001 was a year of change for SLK with a facelifted exterior and the addition of the 215hp V6 powered SLK320, for 2002, change was in the wind again wtih the introduction of the SLK32 AMG. This 349 hp scorcher featured a supercharged and intercooled 3.2L V6, AMG speedshift transmission, racing brakes, and chassis tweaks. Even the supercharged four cylinder SLK230 and normally aspierated SLK320 could flaunt the AMG look wtih the ground effects body kit, monoblok alloys, and projector beam foglamps of the optional Sport package.
