2003 Honda Pilot Test Drive
Honda stepped into the midsize SUV arena for 2003 with its all new Pilot. Sharing much of its mechanical pedigree with the Acura MDX, this eight passenger hauler came in LX and EX trims. Both carried a 3.5L/240 hp SOHC V6 backed by a five speed auto shifter that drove all four wheels via Honda’s VTM-4 variable torque management system.
