2003 KIA Sorento Test Drive
Kia broadened its SUV lineup for 2003 with the new mid-size Sorento. Offering room for five, LX/EX/EX Luxury trims, and fwd or part time 4WD, all versions carried a 3.5L/192hp V6 coupled with a four speed automatic transmission. Four wheel drive models had a limited slip rear-end and offered basic shift on the fly or fully automatic Torque on demand package with a dual range transfer case.
