2003 Lexus GX470 Test Drive
Slotting between the RX300 and LX470, the new GX470 was a full featured full luxury on/off roader. It shared the 4.7L/235hp DOHC V8, five speed automatic transmission, and full time AWD system with its slightly larger brother plus a huge roster of comfort convenience and safety items. Key standards included automatic climate control, leather, and a full array of power assist plus four wheel disc brakes with ABS/EBD/BA, VSC stability system, traction control, and AVS adaptive damping.
