Base 2.5 liter L4 EFI engine received new intake manifold and cylinder head, worth another 10 hp.  New valvetrain reduced high rev harshness.  3.0 V6 engine only with 3-speed auto was optional.  Same bare mods as Century providing better pedal feel.  Automatic safety belt system soon followed
