1983 Ford EXP. Fun for the two of you.
Ford’s sports coupe version of the Escort, the EXP underwent mostly cosmetic changes for 1983. But there were some notable exceptions, such as the new EFI/EEC-equipped 1.6-liter engine with 5-speed transaxle. This powerplant/gearbox was part of the performance/sport option that included heavy duty suspension, alloy wheels with Michelin TRX tires and sport seats. On the practical side, there was a larger, 13-gallon fuel tank that was now standard on all EXP models.
