1984 Pontiac Parisienne Manufacturer Promo

Relaunched for 1983 under the name Parisienne, the full size B-body Pontiac continued into 1984 as a near duplicate of the Chevy Caprice.  The uplevel Brougham sedan attracted 25,212 big car buyers, at a price of $10,281.

    Pontiac was intended to build excitement. Probably why Parisienne was out of production by the late 1980s. After 1987, Bonneville was Pontiac’s top-line sedan, which moved to front-wheel drive. By the way, what was this video supposed to be? A party turned into a pick-me-up? Where was this supposed to take place? New Orleans? Montreal?
