To make the limited-edition Allante slightly more affordable, a ragtop convertible with a $51,550 price tag was added. Also new was a digital dash and pearl white paint (both free on the hardtop-convertible, but extra cost for the new model). There was a smaller steering wheel, too, plus a new Delco-Bose compact disc player and a Traction-Control suspension system. Total production of both models was just 3,101 cars.
