Chrysler Corp., and Mitsubishi’s collaborative efforts have spanned many a decade, and ranged many more automobile segments ranging from compact sedans, wagons, and mini trucks, to these techno marvel sports coupes. In an era where Chrysler was on a roll with concept to production cars, this model was no exception, as these twins looked remarkably close to the show cars that introduced them. From All Wheel Drive, adjustable suspension, four wheel steering, and even active exhaust, these mechanical twins were science stunners simply laden with goodies! One item not shared between them was Mitsubishi’s use of an ‘Active Aero’ system increasing down force at speeds above 50mph by raising its rear, and lowering its front spoilers. Competing with the likes of Nissan’s 300ZX Turbo, and Chevrolet’s Corvette, Mitsu/Chrysler showed the world a new side to their combined talents!
