My mother used to had a Mazda-bases 1995 Ford Escort LX with Sport Appearance Group when she bought it in December 1995 in near-new condition at Horne Ford (now Gibbes Ford) in Orangeburg, SC. I had fun times in an Escort until she scrapped it in 2012.
What I Like: Generous interior room/quality, lively feel, great price, lovely styling, ride, Mazda-based platform.
What I Don’t Like: High trunk liftover, lack of a rear wiper/wash system, tiny & confusing radio controls, fixed steering wheel position not suitable for long-legged drivers.
