1992 Lexus ES300 Test Drive

Replacing the ES250 as the first rung on Toyota’s upscale Lexus ladder was a new sedan, also front wheel drive and also based on the Toyota Camry. Like ES250, the ES300 was a 5-passenger 4-door sedan, though its styling was more obviously different from the Camry than was the 250. It was longer by five inches, and taller by one. Curb weight was up some 200 pounds.
