41992 Saab 9000 Turbo Test Drive
To own a foreign car is already away to be different, to own a Swedish one shows strong originality, but to opt for a Saab is to want at any cost to belong to a select exclusive world, isolated form the rest of the universe. For some it’s a therapy, like any other.
there is something about the motor week introduction song that gets you very enticed to watch. kind of a shame they discontinued it.
as such it is also a shame that cars like these won’t be around anymore. with SAAB’s fate sealed, thanks in part to GM’s screw-ups yet again, its a sure thing that many of these will be put into hiding.
SAAB’s were actually pretty good cars. I have seen quite a few excellent designs come from this company, and they have a huge follower base that was willing to support them. that company has earned my respect, thats for sure.
SAAB is actually dead because car companies that make a loss on every car they sell and then don’t listen to their parent companies saying “Save Money by changing the bodies and the badges of our designs” don’t deserve to be around
You seem like the kind who enjoys rolling around in a rebadged cimarron. They had a thing called dignity, taste, and couldn’t help go down the same road as Cadillac rebadging shit GM cars and ruining the brand and alienating their customers.
I was so sold on buying one of these, but that lack of traction control turn-off just sounds awful.
