2000 Honda S2000 Test Drive

Push the race car style starter button and listen as Honda’s S2000 comes to life. This wasn’t no Del Sol remake, but instead an all new super sporty, tons of fun roadster. Tapping into Honda’s race heritage, the S2000 featured optimum 50/50 front to rear weight distribution, rigid body construction, and a double wishbone front and rear suspension well proved by sizzling 70MPH slalom speeds. The engine was a rev-happy 2.0/240 horsepower inline four that paired with a six speed manual transmission to produce 5.8 second 0-60 mph times and 14.7 second quarter miles at 95mph. Styling was curvaceous and distinctive, with a unique cockpit that put audio controls on the left and coddled you in standard leather seats.
