Oldsmobile touted “the linear look” for its bigger all-new 1959’s like the $3036 Dynamic 88 Holiday hardtop sedan, of which 48707 were sold. An airy,thin pillar roof line prompted the name “scenicoupe” for 1959Olds two door hardtops. The top line Ninety Eight was base priced at 44086 and 13,669 were sold. Oldsmobile four door sedans were called Celebrity for 1959. Oldsmobile continued offering three ragtops for ’59, the most affordable starting at $3286.
