Dodge’s “mini muscle” Dart GTS with its 275-bhp 340 V-8 (or 330-bhp 383) still seemed quite incongruous in 1969, one reason sales ended after a final 6702 units, again split between a $3419 ragtop and a $3226 hardtop. many compact buyers wanted economy rather than blistering “go”.
