11976 Plymouth Volare Manufacturer Promo
Predictably, Plymouth go a version of Dodge’s new 1976 Aspen compact, which it sold with minor styling differences as the Volare. However, there was also a sporty trim called Road Runner, ousting the familiar mid-size car. A total of about 298,000 1976 Volares were built.
HA! Basically the same car as a Dodge Aspen, as mentioned above. Its overall quality was anything but. It was 1980 when both versions had rectangular headlamps, but production also ended after that model year.
