1979 Oldsmobile Toronado Commercial
Like the 1979 Buick Riviera and Cadillac Eldorado, the Oldsmobile Toronado shed needless inches and pounds to become a more balanced personal luxury coupe. The reward for Olds was sales that almost doubled from 1978 to just over 50,000. Toro looked much like the Eldo, but came with a 350 gasoline V8 and offered the Olds 350 diesel V8 at extra cost.
