21981 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Manufacturer Promo
Notice the family resemblance? All GM A-special cars, which included Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Regal and Cutlass, received new aerodynamic reskinnings for the 1981 model year. For 1981, the tip was to think smaller and lighter; hence, the largest engine (gasoline) available in any of these was the 5.0 V8. In all other cases, save for the Cutlass, the standard plant was the 3.8 liter V6 or the 4.3 iter V8. The Regal got the turbo 3.8 option, and the Olds cutlass could be fitted with a 5.7 liter diesel V8.
Very sharp cars in their day and sold like crazy. Of course, pretty much everything Oldsmobile sold well during this time.
the best cars ever made imo had 2 growing up 81 and 86 never forget them
