11982 Chevrolet El Camino Manufacturer Promo
Growing up in the eighties, and highly influenced by my father, and of grandfather, both ironically working together as mechanics, it is reasonable to conclude where my fondness for automobiles stemmed from. My grand father was fond of the car like pickups, owning a mid 70s Ranchero for the first nine years of my existence. When he was ready to replace his revered Ranchero, it was obvious, since ford had ceased production four plus years prior, he was left with no other option. So,1984 found a new Conquista in two tone brown glory similar to one in the video, in their driveway. I distinctively recall, that this replacements bed would be savored unlike their previous truck, primarily insistent of my grand mother, who demanded keeping their ‘nice things’ nice. For those who want a lot of car in their truck, and a lot of truck in their car, really summed up the persona of a last generation El Camino.
I LIKE CHEVROLET EL CAMINO ROYAL KNIGHT AND SS AWESOME CLASSIC ROCK 😀
