Still looking much like the Hornet Sportabout from which it sprang, this wagon remained the top seller among AMC’s all wheel drive Eagle models. For the previous year 1982, it tallied 20,899 units sold. Prices began at around $9500.

If Jeep could have used the Magnum body and add four wheel drive, it could have made a spirtual successor to the Eagle.
I believe it was offered with AWD.
