21983 Chevrolet Station Wagon Promo
The Eighties, Back when wagons were the popular choice for family hauling, and virtually every full line manufacturer had at minimum two sizes of pre-SUV soccer-mom-mobiles. In Chevy’s case, or virtually the entire GM family, there were three for the 1983 model lineup. Starting with the J-body Cavalier that touted more cargo room than its cross town, and cross ocean rivals from Toyota, Ford and Honda. Moving up to the Malibu, gave you traditional American bench seat with the ability to hold six passengers, with an optional diesel power plant if so desired. Finally the Caprice with a self proclamation of being the ‘best selling full size wagon in the world’, that included the obligatory multi functional rear tail gate, that opened to an awkward rear seating arrangement for adults, or totally rad space for children. Seats folded, and 87 cubic feet of hauling capacity, will leave many cross-overs covetous.

that two tone blue wagon with the whitewall tires is quite stylish.
