1983 Dodge Charger 2.2 Test Drive
Chrysler Corp called this American built sports coupe the Charger and with good reason. Charge it did. Accelerating from 0-60 mph in 9.5 seconds and reaching the quarter mile in 18 seconds. That’s faster than most competing coupes including 200SX, Challenger, Celica and Scirocco, and was certainly worth considering if you were looking for that sort of performance that was missing in many of its contemporary contenders.
