1983 GMC S-15 vs the Competition Manufacturer Promo
This video covers the GMC compact line of trucks, the S-15, S-15 Club Coupe, S-15 4×4, and their primary competitors , including Datsun, Toyota, and Ford. The determining factor was simple: Which vehicle delivered the most value for the dollar in areas such as fuel economy, horsepower rating, towing capacity and range of individual options. Surveys told GMC that comparison shopping was on the increase. Customers were investing more and more time shopping multiple makes, actively searching out the vehicle that represented the “best value” for their hard earned dollar.
