Ford motor company’s Continental Concept 100 had aerodynamic design and a vast array of advanced electronics. The exterior featured new low profile halogen headlamps with aerodynamic covers, bronze tinted glass with compound curvature, a heated windshield and pearlescent paint. There were no door handles to mar the sleek lines. An aerodynamic antenna for satellite navigation was mounted on the trunk lid, and sensors for a sonar detection system were installed in ports in the front and rear bumpers. The car was drivable and all electronics features were functional.
