21983 Oldsmobile Omega Dealer Promo
Oldsmobile’s Alpha Omega, or first Omega if you will, was based on Chevrolet’s almost small car effort the Nova. But as with everything in the late 1970’s and early 80’s the push for all things downsized and or front-drive was in full effect. And so was Oldsmobile’s undersized-car offering, it’s X-body too switched from RWD, to FWD, in 1979 for the 1980 model year. Little changed in the three years since it’s debut, with only minor trim and fascia modifications here and there resulting in 53,926 sales in 1983.
