1983 Pontiac 2000 Dealer Promo Video
J2000 was the “alphanumeric” title for Pontiac’s version of the new 1982 GM J-car, offered in the same four body types as the Chevy Cavalier. For 1983 Pontiac’s year old J2000 line became just 2000, and added a neat little convertible in top LE trim; only 626 were built. Other models shared its newly standard overhead cam 1.8 liter four.
