1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Manufacturer Promo
The Malibu’s prettier G-car sister, Monte Carlo, featured a revised SS model with expanded color availability, standard bucket seats, console shifter, 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, new graphics, as well as larger front air dam, and rar spoiler. In addition to the NASCAR inspired, base, and CL version of the Monte Carlo continued to be available. While Chevy’s fire breathing 190hp 5.0 liter v8 certainly the only engine available in the SS, other Monte’s used the 3.8 liter V-6 as the base powerlant.
