1984 Dodge Colt GTS Turbo Test Drive

The Colt was back with Dodge and Plymouth sharing the sales chores. IT was available as a 2- or 4-door hatchback with choice of 1.4 or 1.6 liter engines If you wanted a little flair and better handling with your Coltish economy, the new GTS version was it. If you wanted to add some performance to the picture, check out the GTS-Turbo, which upped the Colt’s horsepower rating from an adequate 72 to a swift 102. Throw in wider wheels, Michelin XVS ties, and ventilated brakes and you had what could have been the pocket rocket of the year.
